Taking a huge range of influences from girl in red, Dayglow, Placebo, the Neighborhood, Mac DeMarco and more, every song on this EP is about feelings, struggles and thoughts that Ecota has been experiencing while making this album. In every song, she tells a story about her past relationships with partners and people around her and make it even better by making emotional and somewhere up-beat instrumental tracks.

About The Artist
Ecota is a brand-new indie artist from the UK. Born in Lithuania and now based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Valerija Michailova (she/they) started her path as a solo musician in March 2020. During this time, Val already appeared in NARC magazine twice, both March 2021 and April 2021 issues. In the beginning of January 2021, they announced their debut EP that will be out on April 16th.
