Taurus Season

Welcome back Astro Hoes, it’s time to treat yourself as we usher in Taurus season!

Taurus is the first Venusian sign of the zodiac wheel. This means that Taurean natives often embody the qualities of Venus, including; an affinity for arts and aesthetics, a deep love of beauty and comfort and, an innate sensuality. However, Taurus is also a fixed Earth sign. This season will starkly contrast the energy of Aries season. The fiery energy of Aries will be subdued as the sun moves into Taurus. Instead of beginning new projects, this is a time to work through previous engagements, at your own pace, making time to enjoy the beauty of spring, indulging in small luxuries and reassessing your concept of wealth, as well as how much you desire it.

From the middle of April to the eighth of May, Taurus will be in its home sign of Venus. This is an excellent time to connect on a deeper level and explore your sensuality, not only with a partner but this is also an opportunity to practice mindful masturbation if you aren’t already. After its trip through Taurus, Venus moves into the Mercurial Gemini. This will move the focus of relationships from deliberate, slow-moving sensuality to communication and discourse. Expect an ease in flirtation and a quickly changing min. Venus enjoys its time in Gemini but it becomes noticeably less grounded, you may feel turned off to partners or enticed by their wit.

Mars has been moving through Gemini since the third of March. This may has made for an excited energy, especially regarding the future. However, Mars will move quickly into the Cardinal water sign Cancer almost immediately after Taurus season begins. This will allow you to put dreams to action, or at least create a plan to do so. As a rule, the water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) deal with emotions. During this planetary placement, this can be the making or the breaking of us. It will be easy channel our emotion into our passions, particularly the arts as it is Taurus season, but one must be careful not to weaponise one’s emotions and sentimentality.

Jupiter, which moves every 12-13 months will move into Pisces this season on May thirteenth.
