"Their hopes for the future are shattering like the glaciers. My relatives hope to keep living there for many generations to come, but the constant melting of the glacier is worrying them and the other people living in those areas. Therefore people have been moving out for their safety.

To showcase this shattering hope ,increase climate change awareness, and tell people what happened in Uttarakhand in February, I captured these images. I staged a flood inside my sink by using some dirty water from the plants I have at home and some toys, which represent people, animals, the environment"

"On the 9th of February 2021 in India, specifically in the state of Uttarakhand, a hanging glacier broke and triggered a massive flood. This flood killed many people, and there are still many others who are still missing. The flood caused the death of many animals and destroyed houses, tunnels and streets"

"The floods are caused mostly by the meltdown of the glaciers which are triggered by climate change"
