Sally Mata

Sally is a 35 year old artist from the South of France. She works at a concert venue, she loves music, comics, visual arts and spending quality time with her daughter. Since high school she has been creating work in notebooks of the world around her. She loves drawing within the strange atmosphere of travelling on the railway and in amongst the landscape , when time appears to be on pause. Sally started to attach her art to walls on her travels in the UK, Italy and Vietnam.

Sally's work consists of drawing characters of the people around her consisting of graphic lines, monochrome and simple colours influenced by her love of comic books.
