Aries Season

Aries begins the zodiac wheel with a dynamic and active energy. This season you will be feeling playful and energetic, no matter your sun sign. Aries is often regarded as having a childlike, juvenile  wonder lust. This is a good time to start putting plans into action, but try not to leap before you look.

During the Sun’s trip through Aries, Venus will move twice; beginning with Aries and moving into the fixed Earth Sign, Taurus in the middle of April. Aries Venus will make for a wide-eyed view of love, the possibilities of what love could be, as well as the tendency to take on many romantic endeavours at once. However, Aries being ruled by Mars makes for an uncomfortable planet placement, expect a high sex drive and confrontation between existing relationships. These feelings will pass though, as Venus moves into its home sign of Taurus. Here, you will likely be prone to romanticism and indulgent sensuality that may be quite jarring until the Sun joins Venus in Taurus. Until that shift, be bold, brave and assertive.

This is a good time to indulge in poeticism as mercury will spend most of Aries season in Pisces. Perhaps the most dreamy planet. You will likely feel driven to speak out, most likely through art and poetry. Judgement is likely to be clouded during this time, as we pass up straightforward communication for dreamy, floral language. Later in the season, Mercury join the Sun in Aries and make for vibrant conversations and a significant lack of attention to detail. This is an excellent time for fearless, unabashed conversation, a time to ask for what you want.

Though we started Aries Season with a mercurial Moon in Gemini, that may have resulted in some emotional connections through conversation, on the 28th, the Moon will move into the Venus-ruled air sign Libra. This will be a harmonious time, we will feel a draw to what we find aesthetically pleasing, and be enamoured by it. A time to fall in love with falling in love, Libra Moon in Aries season wants us to go for who or what we want but appreciate the chase.
